Angela Evelyn Bassett was born in America. She has been recognized by the media and for her television performances since the early 1980s. The awards she has won are two Golden Globe Awards, sixteen NAACP Image Awards as well as nominations for Academy Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett born in Winston-Salem North Carolina by her aunt following her birth in New York New York, is a well-known actor. When Bassett was about five the family were moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to live with their mother who had separated from their father. While in high school Bassett saw John Steinbeck's play Of Mice and Men starring James Earl Jones and decided that she wanted to become an actor. Yale University New Haven Connecticut awarded her a bachelor's degree (1980) which was in African American study, and a graduate degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. She dated Courtney B. Vance, another actress from Yale and they married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett, who plays Ramonda the female protagonist in the film adventure I. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
